FCPS Superintendant confirms importance of FCPL

"I have been advocating throughout the budget process that we must maintain the quality of life in Fairfax because that is why many residents live in this community. Many of the county agencies have a direct connection with schools including libraries, police and social service agencies. Cuts to any of these services will have a negative impact on our students. I have commented about the significant reductions all of these county agencies, libraries included. I may not mention this every time, but it has frequently been part of my public comments."
- Dr. Jack Dale

Fairfax County Council of PTAs leader, Michelle Menapace, voiced concerns about the library cuts affecting students as reported in the Connection Newspapers.
